2022 Staycation Tax Credit: Ontario residents can claim 20% of their eligible 2022 short-term accommodation expenses when filing their personal Income Tax and Benefit Return for 2022. Residents can claim up to $1,000 as an individual or $2,000 for a family (for a maximum credit of $200 or $400, respectively). Below is our current rates table, that may be updated from time to time. Base prices are listed for roofed accommodations and overnight transient campsites, as well as an explanation of additional fees and charges. For roofed accommodations, our weekly rate includes a 10% discount. We offer an additional 15% discount for reservations during May and October (excluding long weekends). For overnight campsites, the base rate is $50 for all sites during May and October (excluding long weekends). We require a 50% non-refundable deposit for all reservations. Methods of payment accepted are: online payments through credit card, Visa debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; e-transfer; over-the-phone payments by credit card or Visa debit card; and in-person payments by debit card, Visa debit card, credit card or cash. Cancellation Policy: If reserving 21 days or more in advance, a 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If cancelling with less than 21 day's notice, half of your remaining balance will be charged. The full remaining balance will be charged for no-show. If reserving within 21 days of your arrival date, or if reserving for one night, the full amount is owing and is non-refundable.
