Mountain Trout Camp is open the second Friday of May and closes at end of day Thanksgiving Monday. For the 2024 season, our opening date is Friday May 10, and our last day open is Monday October 14.  The calendar below shows the 2024 availability for roofed accommodations and overnight transient campsites. It is updated whenever there is a change, including new bookings and cancellations. The months of May to October are listed from left to right.

In July and August, we offer weekly rentals only for Cottages (Saturday to Saturday) and A4 and A11 Trailers (Sunday to Sunday). Cabins, Bunkies, A3 Trailer, A11 Trailer, B4 Trailer and B24 Trailer are a minimum of 3 nights in July and August. For all Roofed Accommodations outside of July and August, there is a two-night minimum stay (three nights on long weekends).

For overnight transient site reservations that include a weekend in July and August, there is a minimum 3 night reservation when the booking is made before May. An exception is if there are less nights available between two existing reservations.

Before contacting us to make a reservation, please check the availability calendar below. If the overnight camping site dates you want are unavailable, it may be possible to switch sites partway through your stay. At the bottom of this page you will find a link to our campground map, as well as our contact information, including email and contact form. 1) Your name, contact number and email address.

2) Are you looking for roofed accommodation? If so, which one?

3) Are you bringing a travel trailer, motor home, or camper van? If so, what size?

4) Are you tenting? If so, how many tents?

5) How many persons 16 and over?

6) How many persons 15 and under?

7) Do you plan on having visitors? If so, please list ages, # of vehicles and arrival/departure dates.

8) What will your arrival and departure date be?

9) Will you be bringing a dog, if so how many?

Our latest check in is 9:00 pm. Later check-ins must be pre-approved and arranged in advance. A late check-in and/or check-out fee may apply. Campers may arrive earlier than the check-in time, but the campsite or roofed accommodation might not be available until check-in.

 

Cancellation Policy: If reserving 21 days or more in advance, a 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If cancelling with less than 21 day's notice, half of your remaining balance will be charged. The full remaining balance will be charged for no-show. If reserving within 21 days of your arrival date, or if reserving for one night, the full amount is owing and is non-refundable.
