Mountain Trout Camp is open the second Friday of May and closes at end of day on the second Monday of October (May 8 - October 12, 2026).

When requesting a reservation, we will require the following information:

1) Your name, contact number and email address.

2) Are you looking for a an accommodation or a campsite? It it's an accommodation, which one? If it's a campsite, include the number of tents, and/or the size and type of trailer (travel trailer, motorhome or campervan). 

3) Your arrival and departure dates.

4) The number of adults (persons 16 and over).

5) The number of children (persons 15 and under).

6) Will you be bringing a dog, if so, how many?

7) If you plan on having visitors, provide the number of adults and children, the number of vehicles and the arrival and departure dates.

Availability Calendar

Our 2026 availability calendar for campsites and roofed accommodations is located at the bottom of this page. The calendar is updated whenever there is a change, including new bookings and cancellations, so if your page has been inactive for more than a few minutes please refresh your browser as changes will not automatically load. The form has its own horizontal and vertical scroll bar. The months of May to October are listed from left to right.

Length of Stays

When booking more than 7 days in advance for July and August, there is a minimum 3-night stay unless there is a 2-night gap in between existing reservations. In July and August, the Lakehouse, Lexi Cottage and Deacons Cottage are weekly only (Saturday to Saturday). Outside of July and August, we offer a minimum of 2-night accommodation rentals and 2-night campsite rentals when booked more than 7 days in advance (some exceptions apply). For Canada Day and Labour Day long weekends, we offer a minimum of 3-night stays when booked more than 7 days in advance.

​Our latest check in is 10:00 pm. Later check-ins must be pre-approved and arranged in advance. A late check-in and/or check-out fee may apply. Campers may arrive earlier than the check-in time, but the campsite or roofed accommodation rental may not be available the check-in time.

Cancellation Policy

If reserving 21 days or more in advance, a 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If cancelling with less than 21 day's notice, half of your remaining balance will be charged. The full remaining balance will be charged for no-show. If reserving within 21 days of your arrival date, or if reserving for one night, the full amount is owing and is non-refundable.

The calendar below shows the 2026 availability for roofed accommodations and overnight transient campsites. A white square means that night is available, and a yellow square (or any other colour) means that night is already booked. This calendar cannot be viewed on a Mac computer or iPhone.
