Mountain Trout Camp is open the second Friday of May and closes at end of day on the second Monday of October. For the 2026 season, our opening date is Friday May 8, and our last day open is Monday, October 12. The calendar below shows the 2026 availability for roofed accommodations and overnight transient campsites. It is updated whenever there is a change, including new bookings and cancellations. Roofed Accommodations: During July and August, we offer a minimum of 3-night stays when reserving more than 7 days in advance, with the exception of our 3 cottages (Lakehouse, Lexi and Deacons) which 7-night rentals only (Saturday to Saturday). 2-night rentals are only offered if 2 nights are available in between existing reservations. Outside of July and August, we offer minimum 2-night rentals for all roofed accommodations, except for long weekends which are 3 nights minimum when booked more than 7 days in advance.

 

​Campsites: During July and August, and for the Canada Day and Labour Day long weekends, we offer a minimum of 3-night stays when booked more than 7 days in advance, but may offer shorter stays if siding onto an existing reservation. Exceptions may apply.

Our latest check in is 10:00 pm. Later check-ins must be pre-approved and arranged in advance. A late check-in and/or check-out fee may apply. Campers may arrive earlier than the check-in time, but the campsite or roofed accommodation rental may not be available until check-in times listed above.

 

Cancellation Policy: If reserving 21 days or more in advance, a 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If cancelling with less than 21 day's notice, half of your remaining balance will be charged. The full remaining balance will be charged for no-show. If reserving within 21 days of your arrival date, or if reserving for one night, the full amount is owing and is non-refundable.
