Mountain Trout Camp is open the second Friday of May and closes at end of day on the second Monday of October. For the 2026 season, our opening date is Friday May 8, and our last day open is Monday, October 12. The calendar below shows the 2026 availability for roofed accommodations and overnight transient campsites. It is updated whenever there is a change, including new bookings and cancellations. Roofed Accommodations: During July and August, we offer 7-night rentals only (Saturday to Saturday) for our 3 cottages (Lexi, Lakehouse and Deacons). For trailers and cabins, we offer a minimum of 4-night rentals (or 3-night rentals if siding onto an existing reservation). Outside of July & August, we offer minimum 2-night rentals for all roofed accommodations, except for the Victoria Day and Thanksgiving long weekends which are 3 nights minimum. Exceptions may apply throughout the season.

 

​Campsites: During July and August, we offer a minimum of 4-night stays (or 3-night stays if siding onto an existing reservation). Outside of July and August, we offer a minimum of 2-night stays (Canada Day and Labour Day long weekends are 3 nights minimum). Exceptions may apply throughout the season.​

To make a reservation: Reservation requests must be made by email only by emailing us directly or by using our contact form at the bottom of the page. Please review the availability calendar before emailing, and include the answers to the questions below. It may take up to 7 days to receive a response to requests made when we are closed for the season. Advance notice is required when bringing an electric vehicle. To view our rates page, click here.​

Our latest check in is 9:00 pm. Later check-ins must be pre-approved and arranged in advance. A late check-in and/or check-out fee may apply. Campers may arrive earlier than the check-in time, but the campsite or roofed accommodation rental may not be available until check-in times listed above.

 

Cancellation Policy: If reserving 21 days or more in advance, a 50% deposit is required and is non-refundable and non-transferrable. If cancelling with less than 21 day's notice, half of your remaining balance will be charged. The full remaining balance will be charged for no-show. If reserving within 21 days of your arrival date, or if reserving for one night, the full amount is owing and is non-refundable.
